Blake Irving Appointed CEO of Godaddy
Godaddy has appointed Blake Irving
as the new Chief Executive Officer of the company. Blake Irving is a
long time Microsoft executive and Chief Product Officer of Yahoo!, and
will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective January
7, 2013.
Go Daddy, the world’s largest provider of Web hosting, domain name registrations and new SSL Certificates, today announced Blake Irving, formerly a long time Microsoft executive and Chief Product Officer of Yahoo! Incorporated (“Yahoo”), will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”), effective January 7, 2013. Irving will succeed Scott Wagner, a Member of KKR who has been serving as interim CEO since July.
